Samsung is renewing its existing portfolio of devices and in the
latest, it has now launched the Samsung Galaxy Fame which is probably an
buffed up version of Samsung Galaxy Young.
Just recently Samsung has launched the Samsung Galaxy WIN which is
priced for around 18,300 in India. While the Galaxy Young had a pretty
smaller screen, the Fame has got a good 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen
with the screen resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. This is the Dual-SIM
Android phone coming with the feature called “Always On” where while one
SIM is actively connected to the 3G Data network, the other SIM can
receive or make calls.

The phone comes with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, and internally it is powered by the 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM for the multitasking. The internal storage in the Galaxy Fame is 4GB, and it can expanded to 64GB using a MicroSD card. There are two cameras in the Fame, with the 5-megapixel lens having an LED flash on the rear side, while the front camera is of VGA quality. The design of the phone is pretty similar to the other Samsung Galaxy devices, with a single physical key on the front, and the touch-sensitive keys on the either side of it and there’s a 3.5mm headset jack on the top.

The Galaxy Fame is going to be available in the Pearl White and Metallic Blue colors, and based on the market where it is going to be available, it would be either a single SIM version or the Dual SIM version. The pricing and availability of the phone are not confirmed, and we might have to wait till the MWC 2013 to get more info about the device.
